Role Description The Brand Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at the Old Navy store in Kalamazoo, MI. In this position, the Brand Associate supports daily store operations, including greeting customers, answering questions, and providing a friendly, efficient shopping experience. Responsibilities include maintaining visual standards, replenishing merchandise, organizing displays, processing transactions at the register, and supporting fitting room and sales floor activities. The role also involves promoting current offers, assisting with inventory and stockroom tasks, and helping ensure the store is clean, safe, and aligned with brand guidelines. Brand Associates work collaboratively with team members and leaders to achieve sales goals and deliver consistent, on-brand service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interactions and active listening with customers and team members. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to create welcoming experiences, resolve issues, and build customer loyalty. Candidates should possess Sales skills to engage customers, recommend products, and support store sales and promotional initiatives. Candidates should possess Marketing awareness to represent the brand, support visual merchandising, and communicate key offers on the sales floor. Additional beneficial qualifications include reliability, attention to detail, ability to stand and move for extended periods, and comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
