Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing Director this position is responsible for helping to bring the GECO brand to life through storytelling, communications, events, digital content, branded experiences, and business development support. This role works across the organization to capture project successes, showcase employee achievements, enhance brand visibility, and ensure consistency across marketing initiatives. Serving as a connection point between Marketing, Operations, Business Development, and regional leaders, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for a variety of marketing support services that help create compelling stories, engaging content, marketing campaigns, client-facing material, and memorable brand experiences. This position is great for an organized, creative professional who enjoys hands-on execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities This is an on-site position

Digital Marketing & Communications

• Assist with website updates, project galleries, email campaigns, and social media content.
• Coordinate content that highlights project milestones, company news, employee achievements, community involvement, and industry expertise.
• Track and organize digital assets, marketing content, and campaign materials.
• Support efforts to improve visibility and accessibility of marketing resources across the organization.

Events, Sponsorships & Industry Engagement

• Coordinate trade shows, client events, sponsorship activations, employee events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Support industry association memberships, registrations, awards submissions, and event logistics.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen relationships with clients, partners, prospective employees, and communities.
• Assist in managing Guarantee's charitable and sponsorship efforts, as well as related advertising, event coordination and like opportunities
• Assist with managing allocation of the company's various sporting and cultural ticket opportunities

Merchandise & Company Store Management

• Help manage the company's branded merchandise program and online company store.
• Coordinate apparel, promotional products, onboarding kits, employee recognition items, and event giveaways.
• Work with vendors to source, order, inventory, and distribute branded merchandise.
• Help ensure all promotional items align with company brand standards and budgets.
• Support internal culture initiatives and employee engagement programs through branded merchandise and recognition efforts.

Visual Asset & Marketing Operations Management

• Coordinate project photography, videography, and content collection efforts.
• Maintain digital asset libraries, project photo archives, and marketing databases.
• Organize project profiles, resumes, marketing collateral, and company information for easy access across the organization.
• Support continuous improvement efforts that create greater consistency, visibility, and efficiency within marketing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
• One or more years of marketing, communications, public relations, event planning, or related experience
• AEC industry experience is preferred but not required
• 1+ year of Marketing experience
• Valid Driver's license required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, website content management systems, social media platforms, or digital asset management tools is a plus
• Must have a clean driving record as provided from the MVR report
• Routine physical activity - be able to stand/walk all day
