The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a technical leader on the Engineering team, developing optimized manufacturing processes for my client's machining operations. Client Details My client is a leading manufacturer of magnetic products serving a variety of industries, but most notably the Aerospace & Defense sector. They have a state of the art facility near O'Hare, and they have established themselves as a top name in this space through organic growth and acquisition. Description Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications Estimate production times and related costs to provide information for management decisions Confer with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities Maintain company's reputation by complying with federal and state regulations Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Profile Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. A background in precision machining - knowledge of CNC milling. turning. grinding, and/or EDM is required Proficiency implementing GD&T into production. Prior experience performing FMEA.
