Estimator / Project Manager

Janus Corporation has been a leader in hazardous material abatement and demolition since 1989. We work on commercial and public-sector projects — schools, hospitals, government facilities, commercial buildings — across California, with offices in Concord, Norco, and San Diego. We're looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to join our Norco office and help drive business in the LA / Orange County market. What You'll Do Estimate and bid demolition and hazmat abatement projects (asbestos, lead, mold) Manage projects from award through closeout — schedule, budget, subcontractors, and client communication Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, and public agencies Inspect job sites and scope work accurately Identify ways to improve operational efficiency across projects Take on other duties as business needs evolve What We're Looking For Experience in construction, demolition, and preferably asbestos/lead and environmental abatement is required Commercial/public works experience strongly preferred Ability to read plans, estimate scope, and price competitive bids is required Required computer skills – Microsoft suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word), takeoff software, bid tracking software, online databases Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects at once Self-directed — this is an exempt role that requires independent judgment, not close supervision Established relationships with GCs or public agencies in the Southern California market a plus Base salary + discretionary annual bonus tied to sales performance and company profitability #J-18808-Ljbffr Janus Corporation
