Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Chicago, IL. This role involves working in a high-acuity environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and be adept in managing critical care patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide critical care to ICU patients, including surgical/trauma and complex abdominal surgery cases
• Manage neuro cases such as ICP, EVD, and brain bleeds
• Perform trach, ventilator, and Bipap management
• Handle chest tubes, arterial lines, and swan-ganz catheters
• Administer vasopressor and sedation/analgesia titration
• Operate CRRT (Prismaflex) and manage cardiovascular complications
• Perform insulin drips, wound vac, and balloon pump and impella operations
• Conduct TR band and sheath removal

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 4 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Experience with Alaris IV Pumps and Phillip Monitors
• CCRN certification preferred
