Advance Practice Provider

This position is at a single provider Rural Health Clinic located 1.5 hours SW of San Antonio, and has been operational for 49 years. This position is ideal for a highly motivated Advance Practice Provider who is comfortable working independently. The Supervising Physician is not on site, but available by phone for consultation and collaboration. Full time (4 days 30+ hours) primary care role. No nights, no weekends, no on call. Provider must be passionate about providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. (Over 95 % adult) Our goal is to provide efficient and compassionate health care to the community we serve. Clinic is currently available for purchase by a qualified PA/NP Provider who has the desire to own his/her own practice. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments including medical histories and physical exams. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Develop and implement patient management plans. Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab and imaging studies. Educate patients and family about health conditions and preventive care. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education.
