Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), rotating every other weekend and some holidays. 3:1 patient ratio. Block scheduling available to accommodate preferences. 28 hours of orientation provided.

Requirements:

• Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact state license
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience with at least 2 years within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria (100% identification of lethal rhythms, no errors on 3rd degree heart blocks, 80% overall passing score)
• Competency in multiple ICU specialties and settings required
• Strong foundation in basic arrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, CRRT, central line care, and complex cardiovascular interventions
• Preferred: Previous charge experience, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
