PROLIM is currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic 3 for one of our top clients in luka , Mississippi

JOB DESCRIPTION


Our client is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with hands-on experience in aerospace, manufacturing, military, automotive, or maintenance environments.

• The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, fabricate and assemble structural components, and perform precision drilling, countersinking, riveting, reaming, fitting, and assembly operations using calibrated tools and measuring equipment.
• Candidates should have experience aligning and fitting parts using jigs, templates, and fixtures, verifying dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and modifying assemblies to incorporate engineering changes while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience working with manufacturing shop systems, following safety protocols and PPE requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives is highly desired.

This position may be filled at varying shift times

• A shift - Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm
• B Shift - Mon-Thurs 5:30pm-4am

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, or systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment
• This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds, working overhead or at heights, and accessing small, confined spaces
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period, as defined by the company to meet its business needs. Citizenship required for clearance.
• Must successfully complete and pass the "ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance" within a reasonable time period, as defined by the company to meet its business need
• Must have the ability to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current/active U.S. Government Secret level clearance
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools (Drills, grinders, sanders, cutting wheels, saws, tape measures, scales, micrometers, dial calipers, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures
• Experience working to electronic or written instructions
• Ability to read engineering drawings
