Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Fort Worth, TX where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Provide safe, patient-centered respiratory care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Texas state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum one year clinical experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• Facility requires travelers to provide highest degree or transcripts in respiratory therapy prior to first day of orientation to meet CAP requirements for drawing labs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and respiratory diagnostics.
• Experience in medical-surgical, ICU, or step-down units preferred.
