Lead Global Trade Compliance StrategyLead global trade compliance strategy for a multinational industrial manufacturer's fluid and motion control businesses. You will build and run an International Trade Compliance (ITC) program that supports ethical operations, reduces risk, and enables efficient global business.ResponsibilitiesOversee the ITC function and lead the Americas trade compliance team and programManage and develop a global team of compliance professionalsDirect site compliance programs, including self-assessments, verification, improvement plans, procedures, training, and auditsOwn export, import, and supply chain security compliance: customs valuation, classification, origin, free trade agreements, and CTPAT/AEO controlsServe as escalation point for trade compliance, including investigations, disclosures, and remedial measuresAct as primary interface with government authorities (BIS, OFAC, CBP, DoS) on audits, inquiries, and enforcementPartner with Legal, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, Sales, and other ITC leaders to resolve issues and advance global compliance goalsRequirementsBachelor's degreeExperience leading a trade compliance organization in a multinational environmentStrong knowledge of maquila operations and free trade agreements, especially USMCAWorking knowledge of OFAC, BIS, DoS, and U.S. and Mexico customs regulationsSound judgment in ambiguous, high-risk situations; ability to turn complex regulations into practical business solutionsTravel of about 10%, domestic and internationalAuthorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorshipPreferredDegree or equivalent experience in international trade, compliance, business, legal studies, or financeU.S. Customs Broker LicenseExperience with JDE, Oracle, E2Open, or TradeSphere ExporterKnowledge of REACH, RoHS, IEC standards, and anti-corruption due diligenceSpanish language skills
