Residential HVAC Field Service Specialist

What you’ll tackle

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems; support light commercial work as needed.
• Clean and adjust equipment, including air handlers, ductwork, registers, and condensate drainage components.
• Diagnose performance issues, execute both routine and urgent repairs, and optimize system efficiency and safety.
• Conduct inspections, make adjustments and upgrades, and document all work thoroughly.
• Communicate findings, options, and recommendations to homeowners with professionalism.
• Own your workspace: keep vehicles, tools, and job sites organized and safe.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

What you bring

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience (residential emphasis preferred).
• EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current TDLR registration/license.
• Sharp diagnostic ability and sound judgment in resolving complex issues.
• Pride in craftsmanship and a positive, can-do approach.
• Customer-first mindset; strong communication with people at every level.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.

Physical demands

• Lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; work in tight areas; push, pull, carry; use hand tools and perform detailed tasks.
• Drive regularly.
• Work indoors and outdoors, including attics/crawlspaces.
• Stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear in person and via phone.
• Use hands to handle tools/controls; reach with arms and hands.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• Operate in heat, cold, and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, or snow).
