Job Details:

1. Developing and producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
2. Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.
3. Interpreting project blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
4. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
5. Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
6. Preparing a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
7. Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
8. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
9. Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
10. Maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation.
3. Experience with particular CNC machinery including Lathe and Mill.
4. Proficiency in computer programming and CAD/CAM software.
5. Exceptional skill in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and production specifications.
6. Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders, etc.).
7. Knowledge of machining operations, tooling geometry, and machine tool capabilities.
8. Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
9. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
11. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
