Facility Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

We are hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician II (Pipefitter/Welder) to support operations in a Central Utility Plant and/or Water/Wastewater Treatment facility.


This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, piping, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.


$33.00- $35.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical systems
• Perform pipefitting, welding, brazing, and fabrication work
• Execute preventative maintenance and inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Install and maintain plant equipment and systems
• Enter and manage work orders in CMMS
• Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, confined space)
• Operate lifts, forklifts, and other equipment

Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, or welding experience
• Strong welding and pipefitting experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in industrial environments
