Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,876-$2,020 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 nights Start date: 09/28/2026 Work setting: Short-term acute care hospital; travel assignment Assignment support: Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Responsibilities Assess and document the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy and make recommendations as needed Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy; monitor patient response and adjust therapy as ordered Provide care to adult and geriatric patients, including patients on ventilatory support Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order; ensure accurate charting and charge documentation Manage and document care in the electronic medical record; maintain clear, up-to-date treatment records Assist in department operations and participate in training or supervision of new staff as delegated Requirements Licenses/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential; Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required in California Certifications: CPR/BLS from an approved vendor; ACLS required; PALS required; NRP required; PEARS preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory care experience; 2 years in a critical care setting preferred Additional: Ability to work night shifts; schedule is night-based with no fixed days of the week Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and licensure verification assistance 24/7 support for assignment-related needs Weekly pay with direct deposit 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours and travel-focused support Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
