Position Overview

Join a growing compounding pharmacy focused on delivering customized medication solutions that improve patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a specialized environment while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to quality, innovation, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
• Prepare and oversee sterile and/or non-sterile compounded medications.
• Perform final product verification prior to dispensing.
• Ensure compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards and pharmacy regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout the compounding process.
• Maintain accurate compounding records and quality assurance documentation.
• Collaborate with prescribers on customized medication therapies and formulation recommendations.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Assist with inventory management and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Compounding experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Nicholasville, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $61.00 - $66.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
