Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Rehabilitation
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Description: Join our state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide specialized treatment to patients through comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other neurological conditions.
- Implement therapy interventions to maximize health, functional abilities, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-S)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation setting preferred
