Description

• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing speech, language, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
• Work together with interdisciplinary teams-including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, as well as family members-to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families to foster progress outside clinical visits.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy to ensure seamless patient care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Keep precise documentation that complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through continued education and interaction with fellow professionals.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• A Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) must be completed if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting your employment.
