Senior Underwriter GA Licensed

Reviewing and evaluating conventional, FHA, VA, and specialty product loans, the full-time Senior Underwriter GA Licensed will assess credit worthiness, manage risk, and ensure compliance with lending guidelines while working in a remote eligible environment. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive loan file reviews to ensure compliance and eligibility in the secondary market Perform credit analysis, asset and debt evaluations, and collateral reviews to assess borrower qualifications Communicate underwriting decisions and collaborate with Loan Originators, Processors, and other stakeholders Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience underwriting conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage loans Licenses/Certifications: Direct Endorsement (DE); Staff Appraisal Reviewer/Lender Appraisal Processing Program (SAR/LAPP), VA Credit Authority Strong understanding of investor, agency, and government guidelines and systems Proven ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information while meeting deadlines
