This position is critical in ensuring our Salesforce platform is scalable, optimized, and aligned with our business strategies. You will make high-impact technical decisions and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support case and payment-dispute workflows at scale.Salesforce Architecture (as directed):Define and implement robust architectures for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and scalability requirements.Evaluate and recommend best practices, tools, and strategies for Salesforce development and integration.Lead the design and implementation of complex, multi-system integrations involving Salesforce and other platforms, particularly AWS.Salesforce Development:Develop advanced Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Flow to meet complex business needs.Build custom applications and enhancements, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.Establish and enforce development standards, including code quality, testing, and deployment practices.Cloud Integration and Data Management:Implement seamless integrations between Salesforce and other cloud services, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.Design and implement data management strategies, including migration, integration, and data cleansing, to maintain platform integrity.Technical Leadership (as directed):Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.Lead technical discussions, resolve complex issues, and drive consensus on architectural decisions.Process Optimization:Identify and drive improvements in development processes, tooling, and team collaboration to enhance delivery efficiency.Stay ahead of Salesforce advancements and industry trends to recommend and implement cutting-edge solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.Proven experience in Salesforce architecture, with a track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions.Deep proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and advanced Salesforce configuration.Expertise in Salesforce data management, including large-scale data migrations, integrations, and cleansing.Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, using tools like REST APIs and middleware.Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to design creative, enterprise-level solutions.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Salesforce Developer/ Architect certifications.Experience in the healthcare industry or working with federal and state government clients.Familiarity with DevOps practices for Salesforce, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.*Commence headquarters are in Virginia Beach, VA, however we are open to remote candidates in the following states: AZ, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MS, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, DC, WI, and WV*Work Environment/Physical DemandsThe work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
