In this travel Certified Surgical Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.Apple Valley, CAMost allied roles at St. Mary sit with the Heart and Vascular Center and the imaging departments.Open-heart and vascular surgery, plus the cardiac cath lab, anchor catheterization and cardiovascular-procedural work.CT, MRI, and ultrasound handle emergency and inpatient diagnostic imaging.Surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgery fill the OR and surgical-tech schedule.Oncology services add infusion and cancer-imaging roles.Maternity brings obstetric imaging, and cardiac rehabilitation adds therapy work.Across the high desert of the Victor Valley in San Bernardino County, Apple Valley, CA shares the Mojave's open country with neighboring Victorville and Hesperia. The CT and outpatient-therapy clinics travelers work are mostly over in Victorville and along the shared commercial corridors, a few minutes from the quieter Apple Valley side. I-15 is the primary route, dropping southwest through the Cajon Pass toward San Bernardino and the Los Angeles basin and running northeast toward Barstow and the road to Las Vegas. State Route 18 ties the town to Victorville and, farther on, up into the San Bernardino Mountains.
