DESCRIPTION

Our technical engineering partner is hiring an IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join the rapidly growing business. The IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST will work Tier 1/2 duties as help desk and desktop support. Work is managed via tickets and user inquires. The IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST will have strong customer service skills along with advanced IT knowledge. The daily outlook of work is 90% tickets and 10% project work.

DUTIES

• Use excellent customer service at all times.
• Be competent with technical work with the ability to teach nontechnical users.
• Investigate technical issues for end-users and provide solutions.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets with clean, accurate documentation.
• Assist users with password resets and hardware replacements.
• Image and deploy devices on the network.
• Balance functional projects, along with handling technical resolutions for users.
• Work ticketing system to prioritize and minimize workload.
• Troubleshoot PC's, laptops, printers, and accessories.
• Utilize Active Directory to apply permissions and setup user accounts.
• Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
• Work as a "jack of all trades," handling various technical issues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsboro, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
