Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Fredericksburg, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 1900 - 0700

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Implement STEMI and Stroke protocols
• Perform conscious sedation and intubation procedures
• Manage laceration repairs and chest tubes
• Administer antivenom infusions and provide ortho splinting
• Act as charge nurse when needed, demonstrating multi-tasking and independent critical thinking

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3+ years of recent ED experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Previous experience in a charge role is preferred
