ADON Assistant Director of Nursing
Job Summary
Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 103-bed facility located in Reading, Pennsylvania, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. ADON Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities
Leadership: Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall nursing services of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other support staff.
Patient Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.
Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction.
Education and Training: Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.
