Visual Communications Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Design & update customer-facing materials including signage, maps, posters, presentations, infographics, and other visual assets.
• Ensure communications meet brand standards, accessibility, & quality standards.
• Support wayfinding and customer information projects.
• Conduct field visits to multiple facilities to assess, install, update, and maintain signage and customer information.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, & other departments to improve the customer experience.
• Assist with temporary communications related to service changes, detours, construction projects, & special events.
• Review customer feedback & field observations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage project files, graphic assets, & documentation.

Visual Communications Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Urban Planning, Marketing, Communications, Customer Experience, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working both in an office environment and in the field.
• GIS experience and knowledge of accessibility or wayfinding principles are a plus.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Salt Lake Valley for project work.
• Valid Driver's License & clean driving record.
