Clinical Education Program Coordinator (Partners Program)

What You Will Do As Clinical Education Program Coordinator for the Partners Program, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program. This role is specifically responsible for planning and executing educational projects and training activities and working collaboratively with the Partners Program Team to ensure successful educational initiatives meet continuing education (CE) standards and serve the education needs of the U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) network. The Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program promotes excellence in care through education created by and for the U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) network and providers from a variety of disciplines that serve patients with bleeding and other coagulation disorders. The program offers accredited in‑person, virtual, and online learning activities that target HTC clinical providers, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, social workers, and others. The Opportunity Collaborate with the Partners Program Team and other project stakeholders on the development and implementation of educational initiatives in the project plan, supporting both online learning activities and live, in‑person programming. Lead instructional design for the Partners online learning management system (LMS) including existing accredited content and assess gaps to plan and implement new online learning activities that meet the needs of the HTC network. Collaborate with the Partners team and stakeholders involved in developing the education on the PartnersPRN LMS, including module authors, accreditation providers, advisory board members, consultants, website developers, nurse planners, and marketing colleagues, to plan, develop, and disseminate online education to the targeted audience. Module authors are subject matter experts sourced to develop content, such as MDs, advanced practice providers, nurses, researchers, PhDs, social workers, and physical therapists. Oversee planning and development of various project needs required for all online educational content, including needs assessments, activity descriptions, author documentation, accreditation requirements, slide editing, brochures, assessments, and outcomes data. Work with stakeholders to ensure materials are developed, edited, and updated in accordance with high‑quality best‑practice standards and accreditation criteria, and cooperate with nurse planners at the accredited provider to secure CE hours when needed. Partner with all authors and stakeholders to ensure high‑quality content, assist with references and publications, and support authors in completing projects. Assist with developmental updates to the PartnersPRN website, including website content, educational tracks, and backend data management and reporting. Contribute to writing assignments such as drafting content topics for the advisory board or funder progress reports and surveys. Assess program effectiveness using Google Analytics and other tools. Support the Partners team and online training events as needed by attending onsite sessions and assisting faculty with training needs. Participate in center‑sponsored activities and ad‑hoc initiatives when appropriate. This position is designed to be a hybrid role, splitting time between the IHI office in Indianapolis, IN and home. For employees not located in the Indianapolis metro area, occasional travel to the Center for Partners‑specific activities is required. Occasional travel is required for meetings or team‑specific needs. Requirements Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field. A clinical degree (RN, MSN) or MPH preferred. Minimum three years of related educational program or instructional design experience, preferably in a clinical setting, such as nurse educator or instructional designer. Knowledge of program planning, training processes, evaluation, and event planning. Strong presentation, interpersonal communication, and meeting facilitation skills. Proficiency in project management and coordination. Valid driver’s license and insured automobile. Requirement to enable multi‑factor authentication via a personal smartphone or smart device to access IHI systems. IHI offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
