Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician – Assistant Professor

Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join the growing Critical Care Intensivist team at Grady Health System in Atlanta.

Faculty will provide high-quality pulmonary and critical care services while teaching and mentoring residents and fellows in a dynamic academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary/Critical Care services at Grady Health System, Morehouse Healthcare, and affiliated sites as assigned.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students .
• Participate in the Department of Medicine's educational and clinical programs.
• Contribute to clinical research, scholarly activity, and quality improvement.
• Participate in resident recruitment and interviewing.
• Serve on institutional and community committees as appropriate.
• Participate in Internal Medicine residency and medical student clerkship activities.
• Opportunities to serve as a course director for undergraduate medical education.

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for or currently holding a Georgia medical license .
• Eligible for appointment to the Morehouse School of Medicine faculty.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching medical students, residents, or fellows
