Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Texas SLP License required
• Open to candidates with their CCCs or those completing their CFY
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and K-12 student populations
• Solid understanding of school-based documentation and IEP processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with families, educators, and a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students K-12, targeting individualized goals
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a diverse caseload (further details forthcoming)
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise on students’ speech and language needs
• Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with district standards
• Offer guidance and support to staff and families to maximize student success
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based trainings
