Cardiac First Assistant Tech - Contract Position
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Option for 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, with on-call requirements (4-5 shifts a month) and weekend requirements to be determined.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac First Assistant Tech to join our surgical team. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures across various specialties, including general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, orthopedics, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring that the surgical team operates efficiently and effectively.
- Perform duties in the main OR setting under the supervision of the surgical team.
- Handle equipment and assist in patient positioning, as required.
- Participate in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- At least 2 years of First Assist experience is required.
- Certifications: CSFA, CFA.
