Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of both routine and specialized laboratory tests—covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for consistency, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, onboard new staff or trainees, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
