Education requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
