Conduct both standard and complex laboratory testscovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols for accuracy and safety.

Evaluate test results thoroughly, address discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.

Assist in gathering specimens and ensuring samples are prepared diligently for testing.

Maintain accurate documentation of all processes, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.

Uphold a clean and safe workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.

Ongoing maintenance of certification during your tenure.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve effectively in a busy or high-pressure environment.

Outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, especially in quality assurance and recordkeeping.
