The brand is known for innovative use of design and technology including AI. Podcasts are recorded in person and via Zoom. Setting up the sound booth for Zoom and then setting up the livestream cameras to film the in person video. Utilizing the LED wall for visual content scrolling across the wall as a background for the filming of the in person video of the podcast. Using the content on the wall as visual content for the Instagram version of the podcast. Editing and loading the podcast on all platforms. Daily livestream workouts filmed live in our studio on our website. Setting up the trainer with a mic and making sure the cameras and the lighting are correct. This is not recorded except for clips we save for social media. Four times a year we create content from our photo shoots for the installation we do for our collections. Content is created by the graphics team and then video is created from the content and uploaded to the wall. Compiling content for events and projects such as taping talks, comedy shows, dinners and spontaneous activities worth recording and using for the brand's social media. Live stream selling programs scheduled for live and pre‑recorded direct‑to‑consumer social experiences. NORMA KAMALI is a women’s clothing company that designs, manufactures, and distributes globally, primarily through e‑commerce accounts and the brand website. We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Technician to join the NORMA KAMALI team. The Multimedia Technician will play a pivotal role in creating, editing, and managing video and audio content for various projects and platforms. This role involves a combination of video and audio editing, live streaming, equipment management, and overseeing multimedia displays, including LED walls. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, creative, and possesses strong technical skills in multimedia production. Responsibilities Video and Audio Editing: Edit, format, and render videos for different projects and platforms (e.g., Social Media, website, LED wall). Work with pre‑recorded and live stream content to ensure high‑quality output. Tweak existing videos by cleaning up audio, adjusting color balance, and trimming length to meet project requirements. Create clips and shorter videos for promotional purposes. Live Streaming: Launch and monitor live stream events, ensuring seamless and trouble‑free broadcasts. Equipment Management: Research and advise on equipment purchase or rental to maintain state‑of‑the‑art multimedia production capabilities. Set up video cues for controller systems, especially for LED walls. LED Wall Management: Monitor the LED wall for any technical issues such as burnt‑out pixels or connection problems, and coordinate with the appropriate teams for resolution. Seasonal Collection Videos: Create engaging and visually appealing videos in various formats to promote seasonal collections and special events. Support photographer and senior graphics designer pre and post prep for photoshoots. Still Photography: Manage small‑scale in‑house product still shoots, including capturing images of products such as Wellness Café items and mannequin shots. Qualifications Must have experience in the following applications: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder (understanding of codecs), Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop. Bonus: experience with WatchOut. Over 10 years’ experience in video and audio editing. Experience with live streaming technology and platforms. Knowledge of video and audio equipment and the ability to recommend and manage equipment purchases or rentals. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high‑quality standards in multimedia production. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Creativity and the ability to bring innovative ideas to multimedia projects. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines.
