Duties

• Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with friendly phone etiquette.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with customer service problem-solving skills, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Monitor hotel security systems and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures to ensure a secure environment.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to facilitate smooth handovers to morning staff.
• Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and reservation details in multiple languages if applicable.
• Assist with reservations and modifications using hospitality reservation systems, supporting guest relations and maximizing occupancy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort experience or in a hotel environment utilizing property management systems like OPERA.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during incidents or crises.
• Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for multi-line phone systems.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in night audit or similar roles within hospitality is preferred; familiarity with hotel management software is essential.
