Customer Services Representative

Customer Service RepresentativeServe as the main point of contact for our customers in your assigned region.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfactionBuild sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communicationProvide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/toolsHandle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time frame and follow up to ensure solutionKeep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documentsResolve customer complaints via phone, email or mailPlacement of orders, refunds or invoicesResearching customer late paymentsInteracting with multiple people to complete a taskMonitoring inventoryWorking as a team on projectsEntering data into computer program such as excel, work, or AS400 systemWorks closely with sales teamAll other duties as assignedJob requirements:Qualifications:In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:High school diploma/GED or equivalent1-3 years in a Customer Service roleExperience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office software programsExcellent communication skills - Verbal and WrittenAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectivelyAttention to detailOrganizational skillsPreferred requirements:Associate DegreeCompetencies:Effective communications skills, both verbal and written are essentialThis position will deal with internal and external customers at a variety of levels and the ideal candidate must have the ability to deal with all these contacts professionally and effectively.Detail-orientedProven leader and a self-starterMust be equally comfortable working both in a team environment as well as working independentlyMust be a change agent and possess a sense of urgency in work habitsPhysical requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlThe associate may lift and/or move up to 10 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focusWorking conditions:Generally works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.The noise level is frequently loud.What Crown Offers YouStrong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employeesThe opportunity to build a meaningful careerProfessional and personal development through training and work experiencesJoin us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30™ program.
