The role is generally located across the Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) supporting a Human Capital Analytics & IT Modernization for Federal science agency HR modernization.

We seek BI Developer (Power BI/Tableau) candidates with relevant government and public services sector experience to support professional services engagement for government and public services sector clients such as NSF. 0.

Job Overview: Provide services and support as a BI Developer (Power BI/Tableau) in the government and public services industry sector focusing on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as National Science Foundation (NSF | OCHCO / OCIO) | Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) / Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) generally located in Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and across the Mid Atlantic Region (of country/world) working hybrid on/off client site.

Responsibilities and duties: Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation; enhance data-driven decision-making using role-based advanced analytics and business intelligence; support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies; facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools; optimize service delivery through performance-based outcomes and SLAs.

Workforce Data Strategy (Data Management & Business Intelligence): Develop role-based dashboards, workforce models, and predictive analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Development of Power BI and Tableau dashboards, structured data governance, and enterprise reporting.

BI Developer (Power BI/Tableau) candidates work to facilitate Workforce Data Strategy delivering Workforce Planning & Strategic Human Capital Analytics - Training Analytics & Optimization through build dashboards | automate insights | enable decisions. Further, they develop Power BI/Tableau dashboards, automate reporting, support workforce analytics and data-driven decision-making.

BI Developer (Power BI/Tableau) professionals typically cover Workforce Data Strategy functional area / swim lane / category disciplines and serve as senior specialist or technical lead scope requiring independent execution, strong subject-matter expertise, and responsibility for complex deliverables. They build, configure, test, and maintain solution components supporting Workforce Data Strategy; develop workflows, dashboards, apps, automations, or integrations and document deployment and support procedures.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for BI Developer (Power BI/Tableau) | Workforce Planning & Strategic Human Capital Analytics - Training Analytics & Optimization [NSF0036036] (NSF0036036) candidates: 3–5 years BI development in federal environment.

Education / experience requirements / qualifications: Bachelor's in Data/IT/Analytics. 3–5 years BI development in federal environment.

Skills required: Primarily focused on management and financial consulting, acquisition and grants management support, and business program and project management services initiatives and aligned with program support activities workforce planning & strategic human capital analytics - training analytics & optimization functional area activities.

Competencies required: Analytical thinking, detail orientation
