The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.Responsibilities:Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and groomingAssist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionalsSupport patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferringMaintain a clean and safe environment for patientsQualifications:Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office proceduresExperience in providing care for patients in various settingsAbility to accurately measure and record vital signsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their familiesKnowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocolsPhysical ability to lift and move patients safelyJob Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekPhysical Setting:Long term careNursing homeAssisted livingPersonal CareResidential HomeWork Location: On the road
