ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTING CLERK

Location: Amarillo, TX

Pay: $17–$18/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Type: Full-Time, Office-Based

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Accounting Clerk. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments and invoices, assisting with collections, and supporting the Accounting team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and record customer invoices and payments accurately and on time

• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances

• Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain accurate and organized records of AR transactions

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis

• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related accounting role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communication and customer service skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a full-time, office-based position with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Duties are primarily sedentary and performed in a professional office environment.
