Business Analyst Change Management

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst 4 (Change Management) role supports the FAS DDI project and other ongoing DDI projects by managing the processing, tracking, and approval of deliverables related to the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). This full-time position focuses on change management activities, ensuring timely processing and version control of design documents, requests, and deliverables while collaborating with vendors, SMEs, and project management teams. The role is 100% remote from day one but requires in-person equipment pickup and availability during standard business hours. Responsibilities:

• Support Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) projects within the Change Management Office.
• Process, log, and track MES system deliverables, including design documents, test plans, and work plans.
• Manage approvals and rejections of deliverables from FAS and other MES vendors.
• Maintain databases, tracking logs, and project deliverable files with proper version control.
• Generate and post recurring and ad-hoc status reports; respond to project inquiries from management and staff.
• Collaborate with Information Management, PMO teams, DMAS SME community, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the program librarian ensuring all project documentation is filed and versioned correctly.
• Apply structured change management methodologies and lead change activities.
• Ensure smooth transition and awareness of releases prior to deployment.
• Participate in all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control.
• Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven skills in data entry, work order processing, tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, including vendors and SMEs.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience within the healthcare industry, especially related to Change and Release Management in healthcare environments.

Special Considerations:

• 100% remote work from day one with mandatory in-person equipment pickup.
• Must reside physically within the United States for the duration of the assignment.

Scheduling:

• Regular working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
