Our team member are all professionally trained and certified in radon testing and mitigation And while certification is preferred Certified Radon will provide certification and training to all new hires. Individuals in this position are required to undergo testing and continued education courses to obtain both national and state level certifications that are required to perform the mandatory tasks of this position. Certification and training are provided by Certified Radon within the first ninety (90) days of employment. Non-Exempt Full-Time Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year What’s Expected Meet high standards for customer and client satisfaction by providing Great customer Service and responding to customer requests in a timely and effective manner when needed Working environments are to be respected and treated with Care Responsible for cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and proper use of company issued vehicle and equipment Ensure accuracy in design and placement of radon mitigation systems insuring the best results reducing Radon Levels Assures accuracy of customer records by inputting, recording, and updating account information in the Company Software Be a Team Player Lead by Example Job Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and install radon mitigation systems Perform initial walk-through evaluations with customer Conduct diagnostics on air flow (pressure filled extension tests), may require drilling into concrete/slab foundation Install mitigation materials; run pipes for ventilation and install fans Occasional installation of roof boots Occasional shallow digging and/or excavation of materials on site Conduct post-installation testing and diagnostics of systems Represent the company in a professional and positive manner Provide great customer service and satisfaction Educate to customers the functionality of Radon System and Radon Testing equipment Respond quickly to customer problems or issues Document job details in accordance with company policy Ensure jobsite areas are clean and free of any leftover debris before leaving the site Qualifications Experience that Helps Heating & Cooling (HVAC) installation and/or maintenance Plumbing installation and/or maintenance Carpentry framing, finishing, installation and/maintenance Remodeling installation and/or maintenance Electrical installation and/or maintenance Roofing installation and/or maintenance Concrete-basement pours, slab on grade, driveway-side walk building construction related installation Brick laying (Masonry) installation and/or maintenance Maintenance relating to building construction Trenching relating to building construction Skills & Experience that is a Must 1+ plus year construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience, or building maintenance preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work within and meet established deadlines Punctual Mechanically inclined Strong problem-solving skills Self-starter with a proven track record of working independently Highly organized and pays attention to detail Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving history and background check Physical Requirements and Work Environment This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, crouching, climbing ladders and lifting equipment The job requires good physical health and ability to perform hands-on construction work Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, in attics and on roofs Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day Ability to use general tools and power tools safely and properly such as (Hammer Drill, Sawzall, Core Drill) Education High school diploma or GED equivalent NRPP certification for radon mitigation, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire (Provided by CR) Ideal candidates should have some experience in any of the following trades but not required: Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, General Labor, HVAC, etc. Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Company Paid Holidays Ideal candidate will embody and uphold our core values of heart, hustle, problem solving, and a winning attitude Certified Radon is an equal opportunity employer who takes pride in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
