We need this position filled THIS WEEK. Consultant may start in 2 weeks from offer or sooner. (As soon as background check clears) Top preference: Candidates who will relocate to Minneapolis and then travel out to other locations. (expenses are reimbursed) 2nd preference: Candidate lives anywhere in the US and will travel to other locations (expenses are reimbursed) I'd like him/her to explore how he would approach it if he were to start shortly before the last integration of the cycle and would be in charge of preparing EWM testing, training, and organising operational site readiness for one or more plants or DCs implementing EWM. These types of functional SAP consultants are used to traveling for other clients since they are working with Distribution Centers (DCs) and manufacturing plants. This is primarily a Functional EWM position working with the DC's and plants. Must have pharmaceutical or medical equipment manufacturing current experience. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Transportation Management and Logistics implementation specialist with deep domain expertise in healthcare distribution and supply chain execution. The consultant will lead comprehensive logistics implementations, bringing extensive knowledge of transportation optimization, compliance management, and cold chain distribution.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Implementation Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end SAP TM and logistics implementation projects for complex distribution networks
• Conduct comprehensive logistics process assessments and transportation network optimization studies
• Design integrated logistics solutions spanning TM, EWM, and customer order management
• Develop detailed functional specifications for transportation planning, execution, and freight management
• Execute complex TM configurations including transportation networks, carrier management, and rate management
• Lead logistics master data migration including transportation lanes, carriers, and rate tables
• Manage integration with warehouse management systems, customer portals, and carrier systems

Domain Expertise & Process Design:

• Design comprehensive transportation management processes including load planning, route optimization, and carrier selection
• Implement advanced freight cost management with automated rating, auditing, and payment processes
• Configure logistics compliance management including hazardous materials, customs documentation, and regulatory reporting
• Design order fulfillment processes with available-to-promise and delivery date management
• Implement transportation analytics and KPI dashboards for logistics performance management
• Configure carrier collaboration portals with load tendering, tracking, and performance scorecards
• Design logistics network optimization with distribution center planning and inventory positioning
