We are seeking a proactive and organized Civil Litigation Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and help drive successful outcomes for our clients.Position OverviewThe Civil Litigation Legal Assistant will play a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. This individual will manage case files, assist with court filings, coordinate deadlines, and ensure efficient case progression.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support to attorneys in civil litigation matters, particularly commercial or employment litigation mattersDraft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondenceManage case calendars and track important deadlines (court dates, filings, discovery deadlines)File documents with state and federal courts (including e-filing systems)Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic)Coordinate discovery processes, including document production and reviewCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionallyAssist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordinationPerform legal and factual research as neededQualifications4+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in civil litigation (required)Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rulesExperience with e-filing in state and/or federal courtsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal software/case management systems is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.)Paid time off and holidaysCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
