Sales Leader I - Business Banking

Position Overview At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator. As a Regional Sales Leader within PNC’s Business Banking organization, you will be based in Ft Worth. The role focuses on coaching team members, analyzing and mitigating risk, leading credit requests, developing staff, and maintaining a best‑in‑class banking experience for customers. Responsibilities Manages and directs a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals. May have direct sales and client responsibilities. Oversees the execution of strategy and daily activities of team members engaged in customer and prospect management. Attracts new customers, grows existing relationships by coaching and managing through defined strategies and tactics. Develops and oversees account and sales plans; handles risk/return and drives quality for new and existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. Maintains a network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones. Leverages reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities. Develops team members, monitors progress against individual goals, and manages performance‑based issues. Plans, organizes, directs, analyzes, and evaluates staff and processes; connects strategy to day‑to‑day activities. Coaches team on credit risk analysis and credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal policies. Qualifications Knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate for the role. Preferred skills: Account Management, Client Prospecting, Customer Relationships, Sales Opportunity Identification, Negotiation, Results Orientation, Conflict Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Managing Multiple Priorities, Sales Management, Selling. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s, PhD, or certifications desirable. 8+ years industry experience; at least 5 years prior management experience. Comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
