Sr. AI/ML Engineer - Eden Prairie

Salary: $120,100 - 214,500 per year Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language.
• We look for practical experience designing and deploying AI-enabled applications in enterprise environments, including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
• We expect experience with model APIs, orchestration frameworks, data pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
• We seek a solid understanding of model constraints, hallucination risk, bias and fairness considerations, and responsible AI practices.
• We need proven ability to create AI workflows that are explainable, testable, governable, and safe.
• Preferred: a bachelors or masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Preferred: background in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Applied Science, or Full-Stack Engineering with an AI focus.
• Preferred: experience with statistical modeling, data analysis, controlled experimentation, model evaluation frameworks, and production AI monitoring tools.
• Preferred: experience scaling LLM applications and data science solutions in large enterprise environments.

• We design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, including LLM workflows, prompt chains, agents, RAG patterns, model integrations, classification models, and decision-support tools to solve complex business problems.
• We build prompt strategies, tool-calling patterns, grounding methods, guardrails, and fallback behaviors with a strong emphasis on responsible AI.
• We partner with Data Engineering to ensure AI components use trusted, appropriate, and governed data sources.
• We create and maintain evaluation datasets, scoring rubrics, model performance tests, and failure-mode analysis tools.
• We monitor and continuously improve output quality, hallucination risk, relevance, accuracy, consistency, latency, and operating cost in production.
• We collaborate with Quality Assurance, Responsible AI, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Architecture teams to ensure solutions are safe and enterprise-ready.
• We document model behavior, known limitations, risk controls, and monitoring requirements, while supporting production readiness, observability, and drift tracking.
• We assess emerging trends and use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive ongoing innovation.
