Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, Clinical

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis focused on clinical operations. This role involves serving as a financial business partner to commercial and clinical teams, managing planning cycles, and leading financial modeling projects within the FP&A organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as FP&A business partner to Commercial and clinical program teams
• Oversee planning cycle activities and validate accuracy of financial plan data
• Conduct monthly budget versus actual analysis for assigned functions and programs
• Lead major financial modeling projects for the FP&A team
• Collaborate with accounting on month-end closing processes

Requirements

• Financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in biotech or life sciences
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models
• Strong experience with budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent cross-functional communication and business partnering skills
• Proficiency with financial analysis tools and enterprise resource planning systems
