Pipe Stress EngineerWe are seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer in Tempe, AZ for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting the design and development of complex industrial and commercial facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging engineering projects that directly support critical client operations while collaborating within a highly interactive, multi-discipline team.In this position, you will be responsible for the technical quality and schedule execution of pipe stress analysis and related engineering tasks. You will gain exposure to client standards, project scope, budget requirements, and delivery expectations while working alongside experienced engineering professionals in a mentorship-driven environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative setting, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is looking to grow within a fast-paced project environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform pipe stress analysis and support design for industrial and commercial projectsSupport design development across multi-discipline engineering teamsEnsure engineering deliverables meet technical quality standards and project schedulesConduct field verifications and coordinate with construction and site personnel as neededUtilize client standards, specifications, and project requirements throughout design executionCollaborate closely with engineering, design, and construction teams to resolve technical issuesProvide input on equipment layouts, piping systems, and system integrationQualifications – RequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of engineering experienceWorking knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design principlesPreferred ExperienceExperience working in construction or field environments, including site verification workHands-on experience with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and CAESAR IIFamiliarity with design tools such as AutoCAD and NavisworksStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in an onsite team environmentAdditional InformationPosition requires onsite presence in Tempe, AZ at least 2 days per weekStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environmentNo corp-to-corp (C2C) arrangements or third-party recruiting agencies will be considered.
