Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
• Guiding patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
• National credentialing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to complete within 90 days)
