Schedule Details:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotations as scheduled
• No on-call obligations
• Orientation: Up to 16 hours (client compensated at 50% rate)
• May float to other affiliated intensive care units as needed

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' CVICU experience with proven proficiency in advanced cardiac care
• Current and valid Illinois RN license
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong Epic EHR experience
• Comfort with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and post-cardiac surgical care
• Proficiency with devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, valve replacements, CABG, CVVHD/CRRT
• IV therapy including arterial/central line access, blood product administration, port and PICC line management
• Charge RN experience preferred; please indicate on your application
• Ability to pass an EKG test with an 80% score or higher
• Submission of a recent skills checklist and reference from a supervisor within the past year
