Bilingual Spanish School Social Worker (2 Openings)
Location: East Saint Louis, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Setting: Onsite
Openings Available:
High School Social Worker: Primary focus on high school student support services.
Special Education Social Worker: Departmental support focusing on IEPs, Section 504 Plans, and specialized student services.
We are hiring two full-time Bilingual Spanish School Social Workers for onsite positions in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Whether you prefer working directly within a high school environment or supporting students across the Special Education Department with IEPs and 504 plans, both roles offer the chance to make a vital impact in a bilingual community.

Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students in Spanish and English.
Conduct social-developmental assessments and actively participate in IEP and Section 504 Plan meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support academic and behavioral success.
Connect students and families with school-based and community resources.
Requirements:
Licensure: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) Endorsement.
Language Skills: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish required.
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in School Social Work.
