Inventory Control Coordinator

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Inventory Control Administrator will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. Their main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking, and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Monitor all inbound & outbound shipments and update appropriate tracking mechanisms and create shipping labels as neededMaintaining proper levels of Inventory and equipmentProcess physical and systematic receiving of stock and direct expense materialsMaintain workflow and related Job queues in a timely fashionPull and stage parts from work orders for Technician TeamAssist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as neededMaintain a clean, safe and organized work environmentPerform inventory cycle counts and execute part transfer requests between locationsPerform various administrative support duties as neededReport all accidents, mishaps and/or customer complaints immediatelyWork cooperatively with multiple departmentsPromote & foster a safety conscious culture in all aspects of the shop operationReport unsafe working conditions and behaviorCommunicate requests of materials to ensure the smooth operations of each facilityProcess all physical and systematic workflows according to established SOP’s & communicate areas for improvementEducation/Qualification:Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, and related experienceOther Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Regular and Timely AttendanceMust be able to stand and /or sit for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a breakPosition requires bending, twisting, stooping, climbingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently (Team lift more occasionally)May be exposed to temperature changes, heights, small spaces including confined spacesAbility to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequentlySpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focusMust pass initial and random substance abuse testPay Rate:$22 to $25 hourly based on experience.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
