Inventory Control Specialist

Conductsdaily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items. Followsestablished cycle counting schedules and procedures. Accurately recordscount data and updatesinventory systems. Identifiesand investigatesinventory discrepancies and variances. Collaborateswith materials and inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies. Maintainshigh levels of accuracy in inventory records. Ensuresall inventory adjustments are properly documented and authorized. Assistsin the development and implementation of inventory control procedures. Maintainsorganized and up-to-date records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to pass forklift certification Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Requirements Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Experience with inventory management systems and data entry. Physical Demands and Work Environment Some physicaldemand;often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material. Ability to performoccasionalto frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours). May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
